Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated CNC Operator with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on shop floor experience to join a leading manufacturing unit in Vadodara. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC turning/milling machines to produce high-precision metal components according to engineering drawings and production standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor CNC machines to ensure efficient and safe production runs.

Perform machine set-ups (setting up work-holding devices, zero setting, loading programs, and tool offsets).

Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments (Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges) to ensure compliance with quality blueprints.

Conduct regular tool wear checks and replace tooling as necessary.

Troubleshoot minor machine errors, coordinate with maintenance teams for technical breakdowns, and maintain daily production logs.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in adherence to factory safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications & Education:

Education: ITI (Machinster / Turner / Fitter) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven working experience as a CNC Operator in a manufacturing or machining setup.
Required Expertise & Technical Knowledge:

Thorough understanding of G-codes and M-codes and the ability to read and interpret technical 2D/3D engineering drawings.

Hands-on proficiency in setting up and operating CNC Turning and/or VMC machines.

Working knowledge of various cutting tools, inserts, and material grades (steel, aluminum, alloy steels, etc.).

Familiarity with quality control procedures and precision measuring tools.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
